Vinous 97

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard is a dark, mysterious wine. Black cherry, new leather, incense, mocha, licorice, lavender and espresso fill out the layers. There is a bit more oak influence here, but it works quite well with the style and character of Howell Mountain. This dark, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon is superb. What a gorgeous wine. This is the best showing yet for the 2015 Hershey since I tasted it in barrel nearly ten years ago. [Antonio Galloni, 01/11/2025]

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard leaps from the glass with blueberry preserves, menthol and espresso notes giving way to notions of baking spices, black pepper and cedar chest. Medium to full-bodied, vibrant and expressive, if has a firm frame of velvety, approachable tannins and wonderful vivacity, finishing long and fruity. [Lisa Perrotti-Brown, 02/12/2017]

STORAGE

Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
