    The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has an ultra-ripe nose with Kirsch and eau-de-vie scents. For me, this was picked a day or two late, consequently resulting in an excessively candied style. The palate is medium-bodied, with grippy tannins and a thick lacquer of new oak that occludes terroir expression and precludes finesse. This is a solid Vosne-Romanée, but I feel it is a bit too extracted. Just not good enough. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. [Neal Martin, 12/12/2023]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
