    The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Damodes 1er Cru showed some reduction on the nose, but there is plenty of fruit here. The palate is medium-bodied, quite elegant and pure, smooth in texture with a discrete pinch of white pepper and allspice towards the finish. I like this manner in which this builds in the mouth.     Notes of dark berries, cherries, sweet spices, rose petals and smoked duck preface the 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and vibrant wine with a concentrated core of fruit, tangy acids and powdery tannins. [William Kelley, 31/12/2021]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
