Tasting Notes
Vinous 89
The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Blanchots Dessus 1er Cru is much more extroverted on the nose, with peach and apricot scents, missing the same degree of mineralité as its peers. There’s something quite Southern Rhône-like about this. The palate is a bit soft on the entry, rounded with plenty of tropical fruit, pineapple, passion fruit and mango. It does lack_ mineralité_ and tension on the finish. More of an early drinker. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
