    The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Blanchots Dessus 1er Cru is much more extroverted on the nose, with peach and apricot scents, missing the same degree of mineralité as its peers. There’s something quite Southern Rhône-like about this. The palate is a bit soft on the entry, rounded with plenty of tropical fruit, pineapple, passion fruit and mango. It does lack_ mineralité_ and tension on the finish. More of an early drinker. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. [Neal Martin, 09/07/2024]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
