    The 2022 Poggio alle Nane is quite a bit more interesting than the 2021 tasted alongside it. There's more depth, greater textural richness and finer integration of oak here. Black cherry, plum, mocha, spice and new leather build as this showy Maremma red opens in this glass. It's a striking wine from the team at Le Mortelle. [Antonio Galloni, 01/12/2025]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
