    Vinous 90

    Good medium red-ruby. Aromas of blackberry, minerals, coffee and spices; at once cool and liqueur-like. Lush, chewy, sweet and deep, with vibrant flavors of black cherry and chocolate. Finishes with firm tannins and very good length and grip. Showing very well. [Stephen Tanzer, 05/01/2003]

    The 2000 Château Petit Village does not appear to be evolving as well as I initially hoped. Here, two bottles opened, offering lifted dark cherry intermixed with beef stock and soot, secondary aromas playing a bigger part than I would have expected. The palate is likewise quite rustic but with admirable depth, supple in the mouth with cedar and earthy notes on the foursquare finish. Given the choice of the 2000 or the 2001, I would probably now opt for the latter. Tasted January 2016. [Neal Martin, 28/09/2017]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
