Vinous 88-90

Good full ruby. Warm, inviting aromas of roasted red fruits and espresso; slightly reduced. Fat, sweet and full, with lovely texture and inner-mouth perfume. Finishes with broad, mouthcoating, sweet tannins and lush fruit. [Stephen Tanzer, 05/01/2002]

This property appears to be emerging from a long, disappointing period. The 16-acre vineyard, ideally situated between Trotanoy and Latour a Pomerol, is planted in sandy/gravel soils with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. A deep plum/purple color is accompanied by a perfume of sweet figs, mincemeat, spice box, and cherry cola. Nicely textured and fleshy, with low acidity, soft tannin, and a plump, heady finish, it should drink well for 10-12 years. [Robert M. Parker, Jr., 30/06/2004]

STORAGE

Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
