    The 2019 Y de Yquem has an attractive nose with citrus peel and white tea. Touches of crushed stone develop with time. The palate is well-balanced with fine delineation, just a little oaky at the moment but there is sufficient fruit to soak that up, so afford this a couple of years in bottle. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting. [Neal Martin, 28/02/2023]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
