    The 2020 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru is perfumed and more floral on the nose. Wilted rose petals infuse the red fruit, then turn more citrus-fresh with blood oranges and overripe Satsumas. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, very harmonious but linear and tightly coiled. This has the tension and energy one seeks in a Clos de Bèze with a sapid finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. [Neal Martin, 01/10/2024]

    The 2020 Chambertin-Clos de Beze Grand Cru is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with aromas of wild berries and cherries mingled with dark chocolate, sweet spices, peonies and grilled squab. Full-bodied, layered and velvety, it’s concentrated and multidimensional, with a dramatically textural, perfumed palate and a long, saline finish. [William Kelley, 31/12/2021]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
