    Vinous 90

    The 2021 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru comes across a little smudged on the nose with raspberry and strawberry fruit and touches of rose petal and peony. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rigid tannins. Moderate depth, plenty of sour cherry and bell pepper notes, though I feel that the finish here is undernourished. This is well below the quality that was implied from barrel. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. [Neal Martin, 01/10/2025]

    STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
