    The 2021 Montrachet Grand Cru (Marquis de Laguiche) has a bit of freshly squeezed lime on the nose that tends to dominate the aromatics at first. This ebbs away with aeration, revealing more limestone and crustacea scents. The palate is fresh and, again, quite lime-driven at first, though that dissipates with time in the glass. Fine mineralité, tensile, gaining weight and grip towards the finish. Like Bouchard Père’s Montrachet, it needs four to five years to really show its mettle but it certainly has pedigree.     STORAGE

    Our wine cellars combine the natural characteristics of an underground wine cellar with state-of-the-art computer-controlled ventilation systems.

    This maintains a humidity level of 65-75% and a constant temperature of 12-14°C all year round. In this safe place, the wine bottles can mature in complete darkness and peace. The cellar is free from foreign odours and vibrations so as not to affect the taste of the wine.
